A recent release from CommercialCafe regarding the Best Cities for Startups, puts Dallas as the third best among large U.S. cities.
In recognition of its favorable economic climate when it comes to entrepreneurship and growth Dallas came in at No. 3 among cities with a population exceeding one million, falling behind Phoenix and San Antonio and one place above Fort Worth. Metrics used to arrive at the placements included Kickstarter funding success, office or coworking expenses, startup density and survival rates.
According to the report approximately 11 percent of all Dallas-Fort Worth businesses are startups active for under a year. Moreover, the survival rates for startups here are almost 65 percent, which means that nearly two-thirds of all startups have a survival rate of at least five years following their establishment.
Successful startups use a number of printing services to get their businesses off the ground including more-often-than-not banner and flyer printing services.
Additionally, the study discovered that the Dallas-Fort Worth metro contained several entrepreneurial advantages over the majority of other larger U.S. cities such as startup density and the availability of freelance workers.
Other noteworthy information from the study includes the rate of the establishment of new businesses in DFW to have grown over the last five years by 19.7 percent. Moreover, the DFW freelance workforce, which is a vital resource for many businesses establishing themselves, has grown from 2019 to 2023 by approximately 14 percent.
