M-Line Tower development attains full height

A major turning point in the new M-Line Tower has been reached, as the 20-story tower has now reached its intended height.

Now that the 261-unit apartment tower’s framework is as tall as it should be, work can commence on the interior. In addition to the living space, the building will have restaurant space on the ground floor, which will include Blue Sushi Sake Grill and Café Express. Additionally, the McKinney Avenue Transit Authority will house its new trolley barn, executive offices, and museum at the site.

High Street Residential, in conjunction with Principal Real Estate Investors, is handling the mixed use M-Line Tower project. High Street Residential specializes in mixed-use projects and is a wholly-owned residential subsidiary of Dallas-based Trammel Crow Co. Its development partner, Principle Real Estate Investors, is based in Des Moines, Iowa.

This July, the first M-Line Tower apartments should become available, with pre-leasing beginning in April. This means orders for Brochures containing an artist’s depiction of the apartments will soon be sent, if they have not already.

Residents of the new luxury apartments will have access to several community amenities, among which are a clubroom, fitness center, a resort-style pool, business center, outdoor living area, and sky lounge.

Architect for the project is the Dallas-based firm of Good, Fulton and Farrell, and the general contractor is Andres Construction Services, also based out of Dallas. Construction should be finished before the end of 2017.
