A College Nannies + Tutors center, located in Frisco, recently held an Open House.

The facility is the first of its kind in the area of Dallas and Fort Worth. The owners are Amisha and Sanjiv Sinha of Allen, who also plan to open another center in McKinney or Allen later this year.

The center has been open since July and provides tutoring and nanny services to families in Allen, Plano, Frisco and McKinney.

After experiencing first-hand the challenges of finding high-quality after-school and summer nannies for their two daughters, the couple got involved with College Nannies + Tutors. Amisha said they understand the importance of finding trustworthy childcare that fits in with both a family’s lifestyle and the needs and personalities of the children. Nannies and baby sitters are interviewed and vetted, as are the families to ensure a good match is made between them.

The center also offers tutoring services. It has private areas for studying and sound-canceling amenities. Tutors also need to meet high standards with regard to their subject area, meaning that they need to be the top in their class. Tutoring is also carried out to prepare students for the SAT and ACT tests.
