Gathering space opens in Allen

Bravo Park, a brand new gathering space where the Allen community will be able to play, explore, and relax, is set to have its grand opening celebration in August, though the park itself is already open to the public.

Donated to the city of Allen by the Sloan Corners development, Bravo Park is approximately 9.2 acres and includes pickleball courts, separate dog park areas, public art displays, and walking trails, offering a wide range of recreational activities and amenities for the community to enjoy. The park’s trail network is also expected to be expanded in the future for even more recreational opportunities.

The grand opening event will feature giveaways, such as free burgers to the first 200 attendees to arrive and a draw in which the winner gets 6 months of free rent at Hartwood at Sloan Corners, live music, a vendor market, food trucks, lawn games, face painting, pickleball classes, and other family-friendly activities. In addition, there will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11:30 am and a commemorative tree planting to celebrate the official opening of the park.

To decorate the space and promote the variety of activities available, events like this often rely on local shops for banner printing.

Bravo Park’s grand opening celebration will take place on Saturday, August 1 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. It is free and open to all ages.
