An Allen event will raise funds to help smash the stigma around post-traumatic stress disorder PTSD and other mental health issues common among veterans and first responders.
Lifepath Systems, Inc., which is a 501(c)(3) registered not-for-profit, will be the recipient of the funds raised during the Strike Out the Stigma bowling classic taking over lanes at JB’s Allen Bowl. Those interested are welcome to register as a single bowler, or they can register a team.
Tickets to participate start at $35 for individuals and $175 for a team, and the fee includes admission as well as shoe rental and an assortment of food and beverages. It will be a friendly competition, with the top players receiving bragging rights.
To provide a way for Allen’s corporate community to show their support for veterans and first responders, a sponsorship program has been developed for the occasion. This starts at the Spare Sponsor level and goes up to the Title Sponsor level, and a limited number of T-Shirts can be purchased as well. Custom Corporate Gifts for a function can be crafted by a printer able to provide in-house graphic design.
Strike Out the Stigma will get the fun rolling at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 7. Its web link provides a chance to secure a spot, reserve a sponsorship, purchase raffle tickets, or donate to the cause.
