Olympic legends skate into Allen

Allen’s Credit Union of Texas Event Center is hosting U.S. figure skating champions for Stifel Stars on Ice this May.

Returning from Milan, Italy, as one of the highest medal-earning teams in U.S. Winter Olympics history, the performers are returning to America to put on a live show in a nationwide tour.

Olympic champion Alysa Liu is among the talent lined up to perform, as well as other gold medal winners Madison Chock and Evan Bates, Amber Glenn, Iliana Malinin and Ellie Kam, and Danny O’Shea.

Earlier this year, Liu became a breakout star at the Winter Olympics. Not only did she become the first U.S. woman to win Olympic singles gold in over two decades, but her uniquely styled hair and facial piercing have also captured the pop culture consciousness.

A child prodigy in figure skating from an early age, Liu’s performance at the Olympics this year is part of her ongoing comeback after she took a two-year hiatus from the sport.

Jason Brown, Isabeau Levito, Andrew Torgashev, Spencer Howe, and Emily Chan are among the other Olympians joining this showcase of the artistry of figure skating coming to Allen. Ice-staking events like this may choose to use brochure printing to create audience programs and talent lists.

Stifel Stars on Ice is happening on the consecutive nights of May 29 and May 30, starting at at 7 pm each night. It will take place at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center.
