Preparations begin for Allen family race

A family-friendly race that benefits local education organizations is returning to Allen for its 17th year.

Taking place in early March, the 2025 Allen ISD Eagle Run is hosted by the Foundation For Allen Schools and is being held at the Allen Eagle Stadium, a USA Track and Field Certified Course.

The race benefits the Foundation and the Allen ISD PTA Council. According to organizers, proceeds from the race help fund student scholarships, education grants, support for teachers, and other Allen PTA programs.

There are several participation options for all skill levels, including a one-mile Fun Run/Walk and a 5K Run/Walk.

There are more flexible participation options, too. For instance, there is a Sleep-in Entry for those who just want the T-shirt, and a Virtual Race option that allows people to race anywhere, so ideal for those who want to participate but cannot attend on race day.

Racing events like these may need banner printing to mark the start and finish lines, and flyer printing to promote them.

The Allen ISD Eagle Run is being held at the Allen Eagle Stadium on Saturday, March 8, from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. Parking can be found on the East side lot near the visitors’ side of the stadium. The East side parking lot is also where vendor booths, race day registration, and the start and finish lines are all located.
