PlantCon International will be coming to Allen for the first time this August at the Marriott Dallas Allen Hotel and Convention Center.
PlantCon International is a convention where plant caretakers and hobbyists can meet with vendors while attending workshops and presentations. There will be 150 vendors at the expo for eventgoers to browse. People can also engage with field experts and attend parties during the convention. There are VIP passes available for the expo that give guests a complimentary drink during the opening reception and free access to a plant locker.
Back in 2020, PlantCon was launched as a safe outdoor gathering space for plant enthusiasts. The convention was officially formed in 2023 after the organization wanted to grow its events and make the experiences more accessible. The founder of PlantCon is Kenny Nguyen, and Gladys Segura is the chief executive officer. The group will also host the trade show in Houston and Orlando. People can donate to help support PlantCon’s mission.
The plant-themed convention will be held from August 31st to September 1st. General admission to both event days will cost $37.89 per person, and VIP passes are $216.50. All attendees will receive free parking at the convention center, and the first 5,000 entrants will get a commemorative shirt. Organizations that host similar expos to this can add their Logo Design to the event’s merch to improve their brand recognition.
