Delta Hotel in Allen set for architectural innovation

The Match Line Design Group has been chosen to design a Delta Hotel that will be attached to its Watters Creek Convention Center.

The Marriott owner of the Delta Brand chose this design firm for the project. The convention center is worth $85m, and is located on US 75 and Bethany Road.

Lesley Wyman from Match Line Design says the company likes the team aspect of the work, having worked together previously. The firm is working with local artists to provide a local design and atmosphere.

There will be local photos of Allen inside the six story hotel when it is completed. Even the drinks and cocktails served in the hotel restaurant will have Texas names, with the company wanting to attract the young and older customers to Allen.

Matchline Design Group wants the hotel to attract business and leisure travelers, as well as area residents. The hotel will have 301 rooms, an award winning restaurant called Stampede, a fitness center, pool, and fire pit.

When it opens, it will be the largest hotel complex along Rt. 75. The convention center will add about 90,00 square feet of space for meetings, conventions, music events, and tournaments.

Allen has a range of printing service providers that assist hotels, convention centers, restaurants, and businesses with design of marketing and advertising materials.
