The Plano International Festival will be hosted this year in Haggard Park. The festival features food, culture, entertainment, and a fitness and health fair.
The Fitness and Wellness Fair will be held the morning of the International Festival across the street, allowing fairgoers to get free flu shots and participate in healthy demonstrations. The wellness fair will also have information available for attendees in numerous subjects.
New this year is Dancing with the Symphony; the Plano Symphony will perform to live cultural dances. Tickets for this specific portion are $15, and benefit the scholarship program from Plano Symphony Orchestra. This portion of the event will begin at 5:00 pm.
There will be a number of food trucks in the park, ranging from Chinese and Indian to classic American festival fare. A fashion show will also be part of the cultural portion of the event, letting individuals showcase their ethic clothing. Entrants do have to register, but there is no participation fee.
Events like this often use printing services to have Flyers and Posters available for the event planners. Vendors may also take advantage and have Business Cards or other printed materials for guests.
There are numerous free parking lots around Haggard Park, which is less than 10 miles from Allen. The festival will be held on Saturday, October 12 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, and is free to attend.
