Allen to offer outdoor training course for dogs

Fido's Finest Dog Training will be organizing an event in Allen to help dogs get used to walking among other people.

The Outdoor Adventure Class is a program where pet owners may bring their dogs to help them grow accustomed to the upcoming busy holidays. The course will begin with a warmup session on the walking trail by Beaubeaux's Bourbon & Biscuits. Guests will also take their dogs on a walk through an outdoor shopping center. All pets registered in the course must be friendly towards other people and dogs. The students should have a working knowledge of commands like down and stay.

Fido's Finest Dog Training is an organization that was co-founded by Casandra Lambert and Marne Pringle. The educational group's mission is to help people open the doors between themselves and their dogs by utilizing positive reinforcement training. Many training options are offered by the organization, such as Therapy and Service Dog Assistance Training, Private Dog Swimming Lessons, and Owner Absent Day Training.

The outdoor lesson will be on Saturday, December 10 from 11:30 am to 12:30 am. The price to enter a dog into the course is $35. Guests are asked to put on comfy shoes and clothing for the program.
