Allen Parks & Recreation will organize a summer concert series where locals can enjoy performances throughout June.
The Summer Sounds Concert Series is a program where people can watch family-friendly live performances at the Bethany Lakes Park amphitheater. Guests may bring picnic blankets to use at the park when watching the shows. Many food trucks will come to the concert series, including Frios Gourmet Pops, The Mexicans Food Truck, and The Caribbean Cajun. People can park at Bethany Lakes Park and the Joe Farmer Recreation Center.
The lineup for this year’s summer concert series will include Ninety 2 Nothin, Graceland Ninjaz, and 90 Proof Country. Ninety 2 Nothin is a ‘90s rock tribute band led by Davy Undünn, a vocalist from Oak Cliff. The Graceland Ninjaz is a band that performs hit songs from artists like Elvis, Lady Gaga, and Beyoncé. Finally, 90 Proof Country is a country cover band founded in 2022 by Sandy and Tory Smith, two brothers who mainly perform in the Dallas and Fort Worth area.
The concert series will be held on June 3, 10, and 17, all of which are Mondays. Each performance will begin at 7:00 pm. There is no ticket price for families to see the live concerts, and parking will also be free for visitors. City organizations that host similar community programs can use flyer printing to let more people know about their shows.
