A community in Allen will organize an exclusive mixer in June at the Starcreek Community Center.
The Starcreek Health and Wellness Mixer is an event where people can learn about local resources while enjoying free activities. The mixer is organized by Andrea Morales and Eleanor Duelley, and the event is sponsored by the Starcreek HOA. Guests can participate in raffles and giveaways, and winners do not need to be at the program to claim their prizes. Light refreshments will be offered at the community center.
Many organizations from the community will be attending the health and wellness mixer, such as M2 Chiropractic, Tom Thumb, and Massage Envy. Various services are available at the event, like blood pressure monitoring tests, mini chair massages, and glucose tests. Attendees can play games at the Mobile Activity Center and participate in a group yoga session. There will also be two free fitness classes offered by Circuit 31. People can even take part in the Carter Blood Drive and ACO Summer Food Drive.
The community activity will be on Saturday, June 3 from 9:00 am to noon. There is no cost to attend though guests need to register for the yoga and fitness classes in advance. Only those who live in Starcreek will be allowed to participate in the mixer. Communities that hold exclusive events such as this can rely on flyer printing to promote their events.
