Allen summer camp to teach public speaking skills

Gideon Math and Reading in Allen will be hosting a summer program where children can improve their public speaking abilities.


The Public Speaking and Leadership Summer Camp is an educational experience where kids and teens can work with experienced instructors and learn valuable life skills. The program uses hands-on activities and practice to help children become more confident. Participants will learn about impromptu speaking, presentation techniques, and content organization strategies during the camp. The course uses a low student-teacher ratio to ensure campers can better interact with their instructors.


The summer camp was created by the Inspiration Masters Communication and Leadership Training Institute. The organization wants to have a positive impact on people by providing them with the tools and education for reaching their passions. The group has several public speaking coaches, such as Alexsa Delgado and Jaime Nolan. The institute also offers corporate programs for managers, business owners, and supervisors.


The camp will take place from July 31st to August 4th. Each session will run from 9:00am to noon. The workshops are intended for students in grades 5-10. Discounts are available for campers who register as siblings or in groups.
