The Allen Public Library will host a broadcast in April where first-time homebuyers can learn important details about what is involved with their first home purchase.
First Time Home Buying is a virtual activity offered by the library for those who are 18 and older. The presentation will share the first steps of the home purchasing process with viewers and provide them with house hunting tips. The lesson will cover other important topics such as how to negotiate with sellers and write an offer. People will also learn the pros and cons of different loan types and better understand how credit reporting companies can determine scores.
The virtual activity will be presented by Megan Oh, a professional realtor who works with the real estate franchise company Keller Williams Realty. Oh has over 12 years of experience in the industry and has worked with a residential investment firm and real estate law firm in the past. She also is involved with community organizations such as the Allen Food Pantry. Realtors like Oh can create Business Cards to stay connected with clientele.
The presentation will occur on Tuesday, April 13 and will start at 7:00 pm. There are no costs to attend the activity, and those interested in watching the broadcast do not need to register in advance.
