Allen gears up for USA Celebration

Market Street Allen USA Celebration is a celebration for the city of Allen.

The yearly event

, likely promoted through the use of poster printing services of a local printing company, features family-friendly entertainment throughout the day. The favorite is the “Kids Zone” which allows children attending to do crafts such as sand art and spin art. Children can also get their hair painted or get an airbrush tattoo. Wristbands are required for each activity and can be purchased at the entrance to the event.

The event also celebrates our military members with the PFSWEB Military Zone. The Zone will have military vehicles on display for attendees to view. Members of the military will be available to answer any questions.

The Sports Zone will feature interactive activities, speed drills and inflatable competitions. There is also an opportunity for attendees to meet and speak with local professional athletes. After visiting the Sports Zone, hungry attendees can head over to the Food Zone for food and drinks.

There will be live entertainment on the Main Stage and on the Community Stage. Performances on the Community Stage will feature local talent who will have their chance in the spotlight. The evening will end with a 25 minute fireworks show starting at 10:05 p.m.

The event will be held on Saturday June 25th at Celebration Park, 701 Angel Parkway. The event is free for general admission. Shuttle busses will be available for those parking at the Allen High school and will run from 3:30 p.m. until the end of the fireworks show. They will not run during the fireworks.
