SBG Hospitality will organize a food and wine festival at The Village at Allen in May.
The Allen Food+Wine Festival is a tasting experience where attendees can try dishes from several local restaurants. This year's participating eateries will include Nothing Bundt Cakes, Hawaiian Bros Island Grill, and the I Love Juice Bar. Guests will also get to try samples of wine by paying $40 for a wine-tasting pass. Attendees who purchase a food- and wine-tasting pass will receive exclusive access to the H-E-B tent and get to try food and wine pairings from H-E-B's lead chef.
There will be several spaces vendors can apply for during the event. Businesses may pay $500 to set up a booth at the festival. Those who reserve a space will be required to bring their own tents, tables, and chairs to the fest. No water or electricity will be available for participating vendors. The application for the space requires merchants to provide two pictures of their booth setup. Vendors will also have to list their prices and let the organizers know if they will be giving out food samples.
The festival will be on Saturday, May 13 from noon to 4:00 pm. Passes for the food-tasting experience will cost attendees $30, and the price of the food- and wine-tasting passes will be $60. Organizations that host food fests like this may use banner printing to get more local consumers interested in the events.
