Wise Traditions will be holding an educational conference in November at the Delta Hotel by Marriott in Allen.
The Weston A. Price Foundation’s 21st Annual Conference is an event where people can learn about maintaining a healthy lifestyle while enjoying foods. Participants can attend presentations covering topics like building biology, the financial viability of organics, and homeopathy for children. The speakers at this year’s seminar will include Louisa Williams, Del Bigtree, Andrew Kaufman, and Natasha Campbell McBride. Lunch will be served during each day of the conference.
The event will have several activities for attendees, such as a guided farm visit with Will Winter and a reception for the Real Milk Campaign Fundraiser. The farm tour costs $110 per guest, and people interested in the reception must pay $65 to register. There will be a movie night for the public to enjoy and an open exhibit hall with over 50 participating vendors. Businesses attending trade shows like this may hand Promotional Products out to visitors to build brand awareness.
The conference will be held from November 5 to November 7. Those interested in attending the entire event with meals included can pay $465. People can also participate in the seminar without the lunches for $365. Single-day admission will cost $165. A discount is available for those who are 20 years old or younger.
