Allen area workshop to focus on positive parenting

Parenting comes with its own set of challenges, and this is the driving force behind a workshop that will help to build better parents, taking place near Allen late this winter.

The five hour-long sessions will be filled with tips and other information that can help parents to create positive interactions between them and their child. It will explore the reasons why kids act the way they do and help fathers, mothers, and other caregivers to build a happy home life for their little ones.

The focus of the class will be on children's behavior, and the power of encouragement and positive reinforcement will be discussed. Since no child is perfect, negative behaviors will also be included in the learning, and babies in arms are welcome.

The cost to reserve a seat in the seminar has been set at $110 each, and this includes a catered lunch courtesy of Harvest Catering. Each parent will go home with a workbook to help guide them on their journey, and also a thank you gift. Items like these can be supplied by a printing services provider.

Norah’s Event Center in Fairview will be the venue for the ‘Simply on Purpose’ parenting workshop. It will begin at 10:00 am on March 30.
