United Way fundraiser returns to Gallatin golf course

United Way of Sumner County is hosting its 11th annual fall golf event in Gallatin this October.

The day will start with check-in at 10:30 am and an early lunch at 11:00 am. Golf will begin with a shotgun start at noon. There will also be hole-in-one and putting contests. After the game, dessert will be served, and players can attend a bourbon-tasting session.

Registration is open now on United Way’s website. The cost is $150 per person or $600 per team of four. Participants can either pay online or sign up online and pay by check. Mulligan packages are also available for $40. This covers two mulligans per player for a full team. Businesses interested in sponsoring the event can see the sponsorship package options on the website. Organizations often use printing services to create materials to recognize their sponsors.

Proceeds from the golf event will support United Way’s programs. The Sumner County chapter works with 37 partner agencies that provide services to the community in four main areas. These are education, health, financial stability and rebuilding lives. United Way provides funding for these nonprofits and helps connect volunteers and resources with organizations that need them.

The 11th annual United Way of Sumner County Fall Classic Golf Scramble is set for Monday, 21st October at the Tennessee Grasslands Foxland Course in Gallatin.
