United Way of Sumner County is hosting its 12th Annual Fall Classic Golf Scramble in Gallatin this fall.
Check-in will open at 10:30 am, and an early lunch will be served at 11:00 am. Golf begins with a shotgun start at noon. Attendees can also compete in putting and hole-in-one contests. There will be men’s and women’s divisions for golfers. After play, there will be a bourbon tasting and dessert event where awards will also be presented.
Those planning to participate can register on United Way’s website for $150 per person or $600 per team of four. This includes golf cart access and the pre and post-game food and drinks. Players can also purchase one mulligan package per team that includes two mulligans for $40. Several sponsorship opportunities are also available for interested businesses, ranging in price from $200 to $3500. Organizers often use printing services to create Signs to recognize sponsors at this type of event.
Proceeds from the golf scramble will support United Way, which coordinates the efforts of 37 nonprofit organizations in Sumner County. These address multiple issues, including youth opportunities and early education, community health and resilience and financial stability and security.
The Fall Classic Golf Scramble will take place on Monday, October 27, from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm at Grasslands Club in Gallatin.
