Gallatin’s Tinsel & Treasures shopping weekend will return this November, continuing a local holiday tradition held for more than 50 years.
Organized by the Gallatin Area Chamber of Commerce, the three-day event encourages residents and visitors to begin their Christmas shopping with local merchants. Downtown Gallatin businesses will participate with seasonal promotions, gift ideas and holiday-themed shopping experiences throughout the weekend.
This year’s event will also bring back the Small Biz Bucks promotion through Wilson Bank & Trust. More than $1,000 in promotional shopping money will be distributed for use at participating Chamber member businesses. Additional information about where and when shoppers can receive the Small Biz Bucks and which stores will accept them will be provided.
Businesses can support Tinsel & Treasures at several sponsorship levels. The top package is the $3,000 Title Sponsorship, which gives one company prominent visibility across the event’s marketing and includes a promotional film prize at the business. Passport Sponsorships are available for $250, with six spots offered; participating businesses receive logo instalment on over 2,000 shopper passports and recognition across the event’s Print and digital advertising. Bag Sponsorships cost $100, with 10 spaces available, and allow businesses to include promotional items or materials in shopper gift Bags while also being featured on the event’s official listing.
Shopping events such as this one often use banner printing to advertise participating merchants, and special offers.
The weekend event is scheduled for Friday, November 13, through Sunday, November 15, throughout downtown Gallatin, Tennessee. Individual store hours may vary during the event.
