Holiday parade to take place on Gallatin's Main Street
Primrose School of Gallatin and the Gallatin Area Chamber of Commerce are hosting a Music and Magic holiday parade this December.
The parade will start on Hartsville Pike, proceed down Main Street and end at Gallatin High School. Spectators can watch the parade from any spot along this route. It will include a mix of local businesses and nonprofits, antique vehicles, and other entries. The final float will feature Santa Claus. Parade participants often use banner printing services to feature their names and logos in their displays.
Local businesses and organizations can sign up to walk in the parade through November 22. The entry fee is $10 for nonprofit organizations and antique vehicles, $25 for members of the Gallatin Chamber of Commerce, and $35 for businesses that are not Chamber members. All entries need to follow the Music and Magic theme, and each group needs to send a representative to one of three participant meetings before the parade. These will take place on Tuesday, December 3 at 5:00 pm and Thursday, December 5 at 10:00 am and 6:00 pm at the Chamber’s office. The registration form and other details for participants are available on the Chamber’s website.
The Music and Magic Gallatin Christmas Parade will take place on Saturday, December 14 starting at noon. It will be held rain or shine.
