Gallatin to host inaugural restaurant week

Gallatin’s first restaurant week, organized by the Gallatin Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Lightbridge Academy, will take place this August.

The event is titled Grit, Grace, and Grub, which acknowledges the town’s founding principle, “a little bit of grit and a whole lot of grace.”

Residents can purchase a discount passport from the Gallatin Area Chamber of Commerce office or online through the Chamber’s website. Then, they can visit participating restaurants during the week and access their special promotions. At the end of the week, participants can return their completed passports to the Chamber, where they will receive an “Eat Local” T-shirt and a gift bag. They will also be able to enter to win additional prizes.

The discount passport costs $15 per person. Participating restaurants will include Andy’s Frozen Custard, Dreamers Bagel Cafe, Graham’s Coffee Co., Ice Cream Social, Swaney Swift’s on the Square and more. Those interested can check the Chamber’s website for the full list, which will be updated as restaurant week approaches. Restaurants may offer promotional Pens to customers to promote their businesses. The sponsoring organization, Lightbridge Academy, is a day-care and early childhood education provider that prioritizes both nurturing and innovation.

Grit, Grace, and Grub restaurant week will take place from Friday, August 5 to Sunday, August 14 at a variety of participating restaurants in Gallatin.
