Gallatin to host farm-to-table dinner party

One Public Square is hosting a dinner event featuring locally sourced food in Gallatin this fall.

The 4th Annual Gallatin Farm to Table Dinner will include a four-course meal and other entertainment. Attendees can see special exhibits and local art. There will be a silent auction and tastings in addition to the meal. Lucas Collier, a 16-year-old Nashville-based country artist, will perform throughout the evening.

All ingredients will come from Gallatin Farmers’ Market vendors, which is intended to provide a selection of the freshest items available. The dinner marks the end of the market’s season, which began in May. The farmers’ market is open every Saturday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and is located across from the Fire Department. To qualify to sell at the market, producers need to be located within a 48-mile radius of Gallatin.

Members of the Gallatin Area Chamber of Commerce received early access, but tickets for the dinner are now available to the general public. The cost is $125 per person, and tickets can be purchased on the Chamber’s website. Several local businesses are sponsoring the dinner. Organizers often use banner printing services to highlight sponsor names and logos at their events.

The Farm to Table Dinner will take place on Saturday, September 28 from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm in historic downtown Gallatin.
