Gallatin to hold Third Thursdays concert series

Gallatin is kicking off the town’s summer concert series this June.

Third Thursdays in Historic Downtown Gallatin will start off next month with a performance from the WannaBeatles, a Nashville-based Beatles tribute group. The four-man band has been performing since 2009 and incorporates humor and audience participation into shows, in addition to popular ‘60s hits.

The WannaBeatles performance is the first of a free summer concert series to take place in Downtown Gallatin Square. The series is being offered by non-profit community organization Historic Downtown Gallatin in partnership with several local business sponsors. Restaurants and other businesses in the area will be open late for food, drinks, and shopping. The performance is suitable for all ages.

Attendees should bring their own lawn chairs or similar seating. Parking is free and will be available at the City Hall lot on West Main Street. The concert series will continue throughout the summer on the third Thursday of each month. Musical acts will include Tyme in July, Michael Vance Trio in August, and Alexander Lane Band in September. Those interested can find more information at the Downtown Gallatin website. Community organizations often use poster printing services to promote this type of event.

The first Third Thursdays concert will take place on Thursday, June 16, from 6:30 to 9:00 pm in the Downtown Gallatin Square.
