Gallatin is holding its annual Main Street Festival this October for the 37th year.
Historic Downtown Gallatin’s Main Street Festival has attracted more than 30,000 visitors and 200 vendors in recent years. Vendors include artisans, crafters, non-profit organizations and some local businesses. The event will also include local entertainers performing on two different stages throughout the day. A large children’s area will offer space for kids to play. Finally, an eating and drinking area will offer spaces for attendees to sit down with their food purchases.
The festival is free to attend, and free parking will be available too. Streets will be closed in downtown Gallatin to make space for vendors. Vendor applications are available now on the Historic Downtown Gallatin website. Booth costs range from $100 to $500 depending on the type of business or organization, with additional charges for electricity. Vendors often use banner printing services to promote their businesses at this type of event.
This is the larger and older of Gallatin’s two major annual celebrations. Both the fall and spring festivals are hosted by Historic Downtown Gallatin, the town’s non-profit organization that works on a mix of historic preservation, economic development, and building a vibrant community.
The Main Street Festival will take place on Saturday, October 1, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, rain or shine.
