Gallatin will host its annual springtime community festival, Square Fest, this April.
Square Fest takes place in historic downtown Gallatin and is open to residents and visitors of all ages. The festival mainly showcases arts and crafts vendors, but there will be food, entertainment and representatives from local non-profits available as well. Square Fest includes more than 170 booths, two stages for entertainment and a designated children’s area. The event will go on rain or shine. It is free to attend, but vendors will have a wide variety of items available for sale. The streets in downtown Gallatin will be closed to accommodate the expected 25,000 visitors as they browse the festival’s vendors.
The event is sponsored by Historic Downtown Gallatin, Inc., which is a community non-profit focused on creating a cohesive downtown area with a distinct character. This is intended to benefit residents, investors, and local businesses. Projects have included building brick crosswalks and other infrastructure, as well as hosting Square Fest and other local events throughout the year. Community organizations often use flyer printing services to promote festivals and similar events. Artists interested in selling their work at the festival can find the vendor application on the Downtown Gallatin website.
Square Fest will be held in downtown Gallatin on Saturday, April 30, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
