The historic Rose Mont house in Gallatin is hosting its annual festival this September.
The festival will include vendors, food trucks, kids’ activities, and live music. The Rose Mont Foundation expects more than 40 local artisans, crafters and restaurants to participate. The festival will take place mostly outdoors, but some vendors will be inside. The event will take place rain or shine and is free to attend, a plenty of items and food will be available for purchase.
Crafters who are interested in selling their products can contact Historic Rose Mont to sign up for a booth. A limited number of spaces are available indoors, and outdoor spaces are available both with and without electricity connections. Indoor booths cost $50, outdoor booths with electricity cost $35 and outdoor booths without electricity cost $25. Vendors at this type of festival often use banner printing services to promote their businesses to attendees.
Historic Rose Mont is a Greek revival-style mansion built in 1836 and named after its extensive rose gardens. The estate was known for its successful racehorses and Longhorn cattle. Today, the foundation runs historical tours of the property and hosts private events. It also offers community activities like the festival, and special tours on specific topics.
The Rose Mont Festival will take place on Saturday, September 10, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
