Gallatin Comic Con will return for its second edition this fall, and among the guests will be two classic TV actors.
The featured guests include Jerry Mathers, who played the titular role in the beloved sitcom Leave it to Beaver in the 1950s and ‘60s, and his on-screen older brother Tony Dow. Now in their seventies, the two co-stars will meet with fans and discuss their time on the famous sitcom and their lives since. The convention will also involve a number of local artists, collectors, stores, and other vendors. Vendors at conventions like this often provide everything from rare comics and Promotional Products to custom artwork drawn on the spot.
The Gallatin Comic Con launched last year and is a project of Towne Square Record & Comics, a local store that combines vintage vinyl with comic Books and graphic novels new and old, alongside figurines and other products. The event is designed to attract comics and pop culture fans of all ages. Specific vendors and more attractions could be announced in the weeks leading up to the event. Comic cons have shifted over recent decades to become more like general pop culture expos, often with celebrity guests alongside opportunities for fan discussions and costume contests.
Gallatin Comic Con is set to take place on the afternoon of November 13 at EPIC Event Centre.
