Gallatin Chamber to host floral event

The Gallatin Area Chamber of Commerce’s women’s group is hosting a flower-themed event this June.

Women Empowering Leadership and Learning (WELL) is hosting “Bloom Where You Are Planted” for its members and guests to discuss both literal and figurative blooms. Kim Baker, the President and CEO of the Gallatin Area Chamber and Rachel Brown, the owner of Black Tie Floral Design and Events, will lead the event. Black Tie Floral Design is a Chamber member and full-service florist. There will be a discussion about how to develop and succeed in attendees’ current positions and workplaces. Attendees will also have the chance to plant flowers. They are asked to bring their own containers for potting. Flowers will be provided as part of the ticket price.

Attendees need to register for the event in advance on the Chamber’s website. The cost is $20 for Chamber members and $25 for non-members. Members often use business card printing services to prepare for networking at Chamber of Commerce events.

WELL is a Chamber of Commerce initiative designed to help female leaders build relationships, learn how to approach specific career issues and create an empowering community. The group holds a meeting or event each quarter.

“Bloom Where You Are Planted” will take place on Thursday, June 8, from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm, at Rock Springs Retreat Center.
