The Gallatin Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual youth job fair this spring.
The fair is designed to match young people ages 15 and older with companies interested in hiring them. This includes seasonal summer positions, part-time after-school work, and full-time jobs for recent high school and college graduates. In addition to paid employment, the fair will also include opportunities for any high school students and young adults interested in volunteering in the community.
Both employers and jobseekers are asked to register on the Chamber’s website. Jobseekers will need to fill out an online form with some basic information, such as whether they are students and whether they’re looking for part-time or full-time work. Fair attendees will be meeting prospective employers at the event, so they should dress professionally. The job fair is free to attend.
Employers and nonprofits looking to hire and recruit volunteers also need to register on the Chamber website. Interested businesses can also sign up to become event sponsors. Sponsors will have access to the best table space and will be listed in the fair’s promotional materials. Job fairs may use brochure printing services to list participating companies.
The Sumner County Youth Job + Opportunity Fair will take place on Thursday, April 27 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the American Job Center.
