Historic Rose Mont in Gallatin is hosting its annual Kentucky Derby party fundraiser this spring.
The Run for Rose Mont will take place outside in the historic building’s garden. A bluegrass band will perform throughout the event. Heavy hors d’oeuvres and a selection of drinks including mint juleps, beer, and wine will be served. Attendees can bid for items and experiences in both silent and live auctions. The Kentucky Derby will also be shown on TV during the party.
Tickets are available now through Eventbrite for $75 per person. Attendees can also purchase drink tickets in advance on the Eventbrite page for $20 for five drinks. Event organizers often work with Stationery printers to design table cards and other printed materials for their events. The party will take place rain or shine.
Local businesses are also invited to sponsor the event. Details about the sponsorship packages are available on the Gallatin Area Chamber of Commerce website. Prices range from $750 to $5,000 and include either four tickets or a full table for eight guests. Proceeds from the event will support historic Rose Mont, which was built in 1836 and features a distinct architectural style that combines Greek Rival and Palladian influences.
The Run for Rose Mont will take place on Saturday, May 4 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in Rose Mont’s garden.
