The Gallatin Area Chamber of Commerce and the Primrose School of Gallatin are hosting their annual Christmas parade this December.
This year’s parade theme will be “The Spirit of Christmas.” The parade will start on Hartsville Pike, go on to Main Street, and then hit Broadway before ending at Gallatin High School. Spectators can watch the parade from anywhere along the planned route. The event is appropriate for all ages and is popular with families with children. The parade will feature a mix of non-profit organizations, local businesses, and antique cars. Santa will arrive on the final float.
Any local businesses and groups interested in participating are invited to sign up on the Gallatin Chamber’s website until November 20. Entry fees range from $10 to $35 depending on the type of organization. Floats or other entries should either reflect “The Spirit of Christmas” theme or the holiday season in general. Parade participants often use banner printing services to display their names and logos while marching.
At least one member of each group needs to attend one of three parade meetings, which will take place at City Hall at 10:00 am on November 28 and 30, and also 6:00 pm on November 30.
The Gallatin Christmas Parade will take place on Saturday, December 9 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm on Main Street.
