Wool worker to show her eggs-pertise

An opportunity to get crafty for Easter will be taking place this week in Johnston.

The Easter Egg Decorating 100% Wool Needle Felt Workshop will be led by Stacey Grant, who has a passion for wool craftsmanship dating back to 2001. She embarked on her journey while homeschooling her children, and now shares her expertise as a needle felting instructor.

At this event, attendees will craft heirloom Easter eggs while discovering the benefits of needle felting in a welcoming environment. They will sculpt and embellish three to five all-wool eggs that can be useful in adorning Easter baskets or tables.

Whether individuals are novices or experienced needleworkers, this workshop will cater to all skill levels, providing comprehensive guidance on needle felting basics, tools, techniques, and its historical significance.

The workshop, typically lasting three hours, will accommodate various pacing preferences, ensuring a relaxed and enjoyable learning experience. The workshop fee is $45, inclusive of all materials.

Participants must be aged 12 or above. Individuals under 18 will require a ticket and supervision by a responsible ticketed adult attendee. For any inquiries or class-related concerns, attendees can contact Grant via phone at 401-757-0310.

Poster printing can be a great way for organizers to provide helpful information to attendees of such events.

The activity will be this Friday, March 29 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at 1665 Hartford Avenue, Suite 4, Johnston.
