Felting class teaches skills in Johnston
An artistic learning experience is being organized in Johnston for next month, and area creatives are encouraged to sign up and discover the ins and outs of the craft.
The Lavender Field Wool Painting Needle Felting Workshop will open enrollment to interested parties soon, teaching participants the steps and techniques required to create a sunset masterpiece. The course is being organized and presented by AFEW Natural Changes and will help students learn how to begin two-dimensional needle felting to create and color an image.
The workshop’s design will feature a lavender field landscape with a sunset as the image’s background. No previous skills or painting background is required to sign up for the workshop. The session is ideal for beginners who want to learn something new. All resources and materials are provided with the ticket cost. Felting tools and supplies will be available for purchase at the workshop’s conclusion to allow students to continue needle felting at home. Students will leave the event with a piece to hang as home decor.
