Johnston social skills sessions promote childhood development

Parents looking for a social setting where their young ones can build friendships and grow will want to save the date, as social skills sessions are coming to town.

The Social Skills Group at All Play Haven is getting ready to welcome enrolled children and their parents for a social session geared toward children between 2 and 5 years old. The sessions aspire to provide a supportive and fun space where young ones can build confidence and connection by playing together with their peers.

The sessions will be led by a certified Behavior Analyst and be tailored to specific age and development groups to provide the most substantial benefits possible. Focuses include emotional regulation, cooperation, and forging new friendships. Parents will receive consistent updates about their child’s progress to aid the process in the home. Printing services are another fantastic way that organizers can provide updates and outline strategies for parents.

The sessions will continue for eight weeks, and parents can receive a 10% discount on the eight-week development sessions by emailing the organizers. No diagnosis is required for participating children, with a wide range of social and emotional needs supported.

The Sensory Play Place in Johnston will host the growth and development sessions, with the first session slated for Tuesday, January 6th, starting at 10:30 AM. Registration for one session is $28.52 per person.
