Billiards players looking to strut their stuff and win prizes will want to save the date, as an annual tournament is getting ready to kick off.
The 2nd Annual Bar Box Championship is now open for registration to interested billiards players who want to compete against the best in Rhode Island for the chance to win cash prizes. The event will allow up to 16 players per field, and a total of 32 players will leave the tournament with winnings.
It will be open to amateur players with an 8-ball bar. The total field will pit 128 players against each other to determine who is the best. There will also be eight separate skill level fields to ensure a memorable time for all. Interested players can purchase a spot or play in the qualifier rounds to enter the field. Flyer printing is an effective grassroots marketing method for such events, as Flyers placed in high-traffic areas generate impressions.
The competition will use seven-foot diamond tables, and it will be held across three days. It is being touted as the billiards tournament of the year, and players in the area will not want to miss it.
Run Em Racks Billiards Bar and Grille in Johnston will host the tournament, scheduled for Friday, October 17th, at 9:00 AM. Interested parties can reserve a spot in the competition online.
