A yoga session featuring cats and kittens is in the works in Johnston, and yogis and area residents seeking a fun and stress-free form of exercise are invited.
The Yoga with Kittens at the Community Cat Center will open its doors to interested parties next month, allowing guests to enjoy a gentle yoga session with kittens and cats. The session will be geared toward beginner yogis and will be led by Heather and Lisa, two experienced yoga instructors from the Johnston area. The proceeds from the class will benefit Pawsquatch.
The class will help each attendee calm their mind and exercise their bodies. Interested parties with no yoga experience can learn in a warm and welcoming environment while snuggling with cats. Some cats may join participants on their mats, taking cat and cow to a new level. Flyer printing is an effective grassroots method to promote such events and create more brand visibility for the hosting venue.
Registered guests will need to bring their yoga mat, water bottle, towel, strap, and block. Children aged eight or older can participate but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The cats are provided by the event.
The yoga session will be held at the Community Cat Center in Johnston on Sunday, January 26, from 9:30 AM until noon. Tickets can be purchased online for $25 per person.
