The Northern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce will be holding an annual festival in September at Johnston Memorial Park.
The public is invited to the 34th Annual Apple Festival to enjoy fall-themed activities while checking out local vendors. The event is a time-honored tradition that promotes craftspeople at the fest’s Artisan Row. Guests can also go on hayrides through the park. Businesses interested in taking part in the apple festival may pay $250 for a booth spot. Stall spaces for crafts sellers can be bought for $150, and non-profit organizations can reserve a space for $75. There are also sponsorships available for $1,000.
The Northern Rhode Island Chamber is a combination of the Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce and Greater Woonsocket Chamber of Commerce. The group was created in 1991 to help strengthen the local economy. Many cities are served by the chamber, including Central Falls, North Smithfield, and Foster. The organization also holds numerous events, such as The Executive Golf Outing and Welcome Wednesday Coffee Hours.
The apple festival will be held from Saturday, September 10 to Sunday, September 11 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Admission for consumers is free, and registration is not needed to browse the Artisan Row. Vendors who set up stalls at public activities similar to this may offer promotional Pens to visitors to advertise their brand to eventgoers.
