A late Valentine's event entitled “Gnome Love Valentine's Wool Needle Felt Workshop” will take place in Johnston next week.
The workshop offers an opportunity for individuals to delve into the needle felting world, exploring its techniques and tools. Needle felting involves repeatedly "poking" wool roving using specialized needles, causing the fibers to interlock and create felt.
Stacey Grant is the instructor. Her journey with wool began in 2001 while homeschooling her children. Now, she shares her passion for needle felting as an instructor, highlighting its tactile engagement. The event is designed to cater to both experienced and beginner individuals.
In case of cancellations due to extreme weather or safety concerns, participants will receive a full reimbursement or the option to attend a makeup class.
The cost to attend the event is $45. Tickets can be bought through the AllEvents listing. Attendees should also note that there are no elevators present at the venue.
Attendees ages 10 to 15 must have tickets and need to be accompanied by an adult who is also a ticketholder. For registration and inquiries, individuals can contact Stacey Grant via phone at (401)757-0310 or email hello@pokeitfelting.com.
Brochure printing can be a great way for an organization to provide instructions to attendees at events like this.
The event will be next Thursday, February 29 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. 1665 Hartford Avenue, Johnston, Rhode Island will be the workshop’s location.
