The 2013 Spring Flower and Garden Show in Rhode Island is almost here and Johnston vendors are looking forward to showing their wares to a large number of people.
The show will feature themed gardens, gardening experts offering advice and answering questions, children's activities such as face painting and storytelling, a market place, and the Food and Wine Festival. The featured speaker at this year's show will be Kevin O'Connor, host of ‘This Old House’. The Food and Wine Festival, which has a separate admission price, will feature cooking demonstrations and samplings. Vendors in the market place will be selling all sorts of items such as plants, flowers, pottery, and outdoor living accessories. More than likely, those Johnston vendors will be working with local printing companies to prepare for the event; they might want to provide Business Cards to those who buy from them, or Catalogs of their products.
For those who want to get a head start on the show, a preview party will be held on February 20 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm; proceeds will go to benefit the Rhode Island Community Food Bank.
The Spring Flower and Garden Show is set to take place at the Rhode Island Convention Center, located in Providence, from February 21 – 24. Tickets are $17 in advance or $19 at the door for adults, $16 for students and seniors and $7 for children aged 6-12; tickets for the Food and Wine Festival are $20 each or $30 in advance for both shows.
