The 78 Pub @ This Guy's Pizza in Johnston will be holding an event in January where people can paint beer Mugs.
Beer Mug Painting At The 78 Pub! is a creative activity that allows attendees to decorate their own drinking vessels. The organizer supplies all materials needed to complete the beer mug project. Once completed, people can purchase beverages from the venue for their creations. The 78 Pub offers several draft beers, including Captain's Daughter Double IPA, Night Swim'ah Belgian Style Wheat Ale, and Angry Orchard. Beers can be bought as a pitcher or by the glass.
The organizer of the painting activity is Inebri-Art, an organization that started in 2011 to bring accessible art to others. The group hosts activities in several bars, such as The New World Tavern, Leyden Farm Vineyard & Winery, and the Stellwagen Beer Company. Other events offered by Inebri-Art include comedy shows, wine glass painting sessions, and life drawing classes. The organization also hosts hometown marketplaces.
The beer mug painting activity will be held on Wednesday, January 11 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Tickets to take part in Inebri-Art's project will cost $20 per person. Beer is not included in the price of the activity. Only a limited number of beer glasses will be available for the event. Artistic organizations that offer projects like this may use poster printing to advertise their activities at local bars.
