‘A Grande Fete by the River’ is taking place at the end of the month in Pawtucket. It is the spring fundraising event for the Slater Mill Historic Site. Proceeds will go to support the mill and educational scholarships.
Guest will enjoy live jazz music from the Paul Broadnax Trio, cocktails, and hors d'oeuvres. They can also shop in the Mill's gift shop for unique artisan products, or take a self-guided tour of the site by candlelight.
The Slater Mill Historic site comprises three historic structures, the Jenks Education Conference Center, an exhibition gallery, and a park. Museum tours are also available, and the public can take art classes at the TradArts Studio, which is an initiative of Slater Mills Fiber and Traditional Arts.
