Food festival delivers new flavors to Johnston area

Foodies and other culinary enthusiasts will want to make a note in their Journals for next month, as a culinary festival is in the works that Johnston residents may be interested in.

The RI VegFest has a start date, and interested parties will want to save the date for a food festival and celebration in neighboring Providence. The festival will be Rhode Island’s first fully Vegan food festival and will be hosted by a local with 25 years of experience following a Vegan diet.

The organizers are committed to ensuring a fun, inclusive, and enjoyable atmosphere for attendees to indulge in with friends, family, and other like-minded individuals. The purpose of the gathering is to support Vegan-friendly businesses while making Vegan food options more prevalent and available within the Johnston and Providence communities. Banner printing is a memorable and bold way to welcome attendees to such festivals while promoting the event’s sponsors.

In addition to trying several new types of Vegan food, guests will enjoy access to educational breakout sessions and opportunities to shop and meet with local vendors. Participating restaurants will have full Menus to ensure all attendees are well-fed and comfortable throughout the celebrations.

The WaterFire Arts Center will host the Vegan festival starting on Saturday, February 1st, and continuing through Sunday, February 2nd. Tickets can be purchased online, and general admission costs $10 per person.
