Cookie decorating workshop adds flavor in Johnston

Johnston residents looking for a fun way to break up their routine might want to thank their lucky charms, as a cookie decorating workshop is stopping in town.

The Lucky Charms Cookie Decorating Workshop has an announced start date for next month, providing a fun and immersive learning experience for Johnston residents who want to take their cookie decorating skills to the next level. Participants in the event will work together and learn from an instructor as they create Lucky Charms-themed sugar cookies, with each student receiving eight mini cookies.

The workshop will be led by experts at a local bakery, Sprinkle Strega, which is touted as the sprinkle capital of the Northeast. The bakery takes pride in leading area residents through workshops to create and decorate cakes, pastries, cookies, and more. Brochure printing can help instructors provide more information to students while allowing them to continue learning at home after the event.

Students will decorate their eight mini cookies using icing, and each student is welcome to choose whether or not they want sprinkles on their cookies. The event organizers are unable to accommodate gluten and other allergies at this time.

Sprinkle Strega in Johnston will host the cookie-decorating workshop on Sunday, March 16th, from noon until 2:00 PM. Tickets cost $29 per student, and reservations are open online.
