A celebration is brewing in Johnston, providing a space for area residents to celebrate the efforts to prevent climate change and help the environment.
The 15th Zero-Trash Birthday Bash is set to kick off in a few weeks. It will allow climate-conscious residents and visitors in Johnston to celebrate with like-minded individuals for a good cause. The party will aim to provide a party without producing trash, and the funds raised by registered guests will go to ecoRI News’ reporting on local environmental issues.
Guests will have opportunities to socialize and network with their favorite environmentalist journalists and reporters, along with the organization’s board and other climate enthusiasts in attendance. Attendees will also enjoy a meal provided by Amos House More Than a Meal Catering. Beverages will include non-alcoholic options like soda, beer from Long Live Beerworks, and wine from Bottles. Printing services are ideal for using recyclable marketing resources at eco-friendly events like this.
The founders of ecoRI News will give attendees the inside scoop about the organization’s growth while sharing behind-the-scenes stories from around Rhode Island. A cash 50/50 raffle will also be held, providing attendees an opportunity to win money.
The Dye House will host the celebration on Thursday, September 12th, with doors opening at 5:30 PM. Tight-budget tickets cost $45 per guest, while general admission is $95. Tickets are available online.
