Johnston residents looking for a night of fundraising fun may be interested in making the short trip over to nearby Cranston for an evening of bowling in early June.
The Bowling because we CARE fundraiser, organized by the CARE committee of the Greater Providence Board of Realtors (GBPOR), is being thrown to offer an engaging night of healthy competition and sporting fun, while also supporting the charities that the GBPOR cares deeply about.
Real estate professionals, as well as friends, family, and neighbors, are all welcome to join in the bowling festivities. Attendees can choose to register either as a group of six or as individuals, although all participants will be put into groups.
The GBPOR’s adopted charities, all of which will benefit from the money raised at the fundraiser, include Girls on the Run, Faster Forward, and Higher Ground International. When events like this are put together, fundraisers and event organizers often choose to have Corporate Gifts created for attendees to enjoy during the event and after its conclusion.
The cost to register for the evening is $240 for a group of six, or $40 per individual bowler. Children aged 12 or younger can be registered for $25. There will be appetizers on offer at the fundraiser, including sandwiches, chicken wings, stuffed mushrooms, and meatballs.
The Bowling because we CARE fundraiser will take place at Lang’s Bowlarama on Friday, June 7, from 5:30pm until 8:30pm.
