Beer enthusiasts and amateur brewmasters will want to maintain an open schedule next month, as a top beer festival is coming to the Johnston region.
The Ocean State Brewers Fest 2024 is returning for the eighth year running, and Johnston residents are encouraged to attend to discover new beers from the region and learn the behind-the-scenes process of brewing beer. The event features only breweries located within Rhode Island to promote the state’s small businesses.
Participating breweries are planning to brew nostalgic craft beer options, with the primary options featuring throwback beers or options from the year the brewery opened. Limited tickets will be available, and interested parties are encouraged to reserve a spot at the festival while they remain. The Rhode Island Brewers Guild is organizing the event to promote and advance craft beer statewide. All guests must be 21 or older and present a valid form of identification to enter the festival. No babies, children, or dogs will be allowed entry. Attendees can expect a welcoming and friendly environment.
Farm Fresh Rhode Island will host the beer festival on Saturday, August 10, from 3:00 to 6:30 pm. Tickets are available online, with general admission costing $65 per attendee.
