For all Kingston's indoor sports enthusiasts, Pickleballprincess is holding its first Friedman JCC Spring Slam Jam in mid-March.
The event will be played on three courts with a round robin format, and will consist of doubles playing over two days. Five matches are guaranteed, and pair-ups will be determined by skill. Men’s and women’s doubles will be played on Saturday, and mixed doubles take place on Sunday. Men’s doubles begins at 8:00 am, women’s doubles will start at 2:00 pm, and mixed will begin at 8:00 am.
Players must be 18 or over and registration fee is $30 to enter and $10 per event. This needs to be arranged soon, as registration ends Monday, February 15.
The Woodlands Resort, 2301 North Millbend Drive will hold the Friday night reception, featuring DJ AJ Stack. The evening will include door prizes and refreshments.
Participants will receive t-shirts featuring this year’s graphic design, winners’ medals, giveaways in gift Bags sporting the Hydrant Logo Design.
Complimentary light refreshments will be available at both the reception and on event day. Food can also be purchased on site at the Atrium restaurant from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm. Proceeds from this event will go to JCC.
The Friedman JCC Spring Slam Jam will take place at 400 3rd Street on Saturday, March 20 starting at 8:00, ending Sunday, March 21 at 8:00 pm.
